Jacer F2k2 BACK to CARS COLOURS OPTIONS PRICES

Description:

The Jacer F2k2 is Jacer's original Formula First. It is available in CAMS, and SCCA specification.

The Jacer F2k2 has won the 2002 and 2003 NSW State Formula Vee Championships for 1600cc cars, and holds the lap record at  Wakefield Park and Oran Park in NSW.

The Jacer F2k2 is a three level mild steel tubular chassis. Driver protection and safety in the event of a side collision is the prime factor in the design of the F2k2. The cockpit has ample room, whether the driver is tall, short, thin or wide. The driver's head and body is protected by the multi - bulkheaded chassis, which is braced to stiffen the chassis for greater suspension control, and also to increase load disipation in an impact. The floor is braced to eliminate lozengeing. The frontal area of the bodywork is reduced to increase aerodynamic efficiency. The bodywork is more streamlined than the 99 around the cockpit, and also allows for better head cooling with its "undercut" styling. The F2k2 features an adjustable pedal unit which can be moved 4" forward or back without having to adjust pushrods or even remove a bolt. This innovation literally takes minutes to get the right comfort for a driver. The Jacer F2k2 also has a larger dash panel for more instrument room, and incorporated front roll over protection via an additional bulkhead, forward of the dash. The F2k2 is a culmination of 5 years of Jacer development, and the next step for Jacer.

The Jacer F2k2 features the Jacer Monoshock (zero-roll principle) suspension that allows greater handling adjustments, better speed and easier ride height adjustments than conventional Formula Vee designs. It also utilises the Jacer adjustable gas shock absorber, made exclusively for Jacer by PROFLEX. The shock has Slow Bump and Rebound, and Fast Bump adjustments.

Jacer has produced optional extras for the F2k2, including rear Oil Cooler / Body mount tray, Droop adjusters for the front shocks, long or short nose cones to suit Australian CAMS spec or USA SCCA spec, and incorporated Side Impact protection Kevlar panels, to suit USA SCCA spec.

The F2k2 is available in kit form, as a rolling chassis, or a complete car.

From June 2002, all kits will come complete with assembly instructions and hints, and a free setup guide.
